| April 04, 2015 April 2015 Snippets Spring is not here! The closest we can get right now in Vermont is our "Twirling Tulips" table topper we designed for our 2015 Vermont Shop Hop.  The pattern and kit are now available for purchase. The weather can only get better, right? Well at least we have some new fabrics, book, patterns and notions to share with you. New fabric...  Franklin, Denyse Schmidt's latest line. We have this on the bolt as well as fat quarter bundles, jelly rolls and 10 inch square bundles.  From Dear Stella, "Lila" beautiful shades of blues and violets.  We have just sent out the latest issue of Australian Homespun Magazine to our auto subscribers. We are now sold out of the April issue but you can still download the magazine thru Zinio, just click on the link above. We have started working on installment #3 of Kaffe Fassett and Kathy Doughty's Block of the Month, "China Shop" We have all the fabrics to make this wonderful quilt. You can buy the whole kit on the website. We have 2 nifty notions to help you with section #3...  Circle Templates for applique and the bias binding tool to help make the flowers in this installment. We are offering a garment sewing class for 6 weeks this Spring. You can register online! Instead of the tunic we will begin with this cool Kimono Jacket from Kaffe's latest book, "Brilliant Little Patchwork"  More new books...  This book is full of brilliant quilts. And so is this book from Aardvark Quilts  From Piece O' Cake Designs their latest...  We never tire of Becky Goldsmith and Linda Jenkin's whimsical applique. From Jen Kingwell (Gypsy Wife) we now have the following pattern booklets available.  "Bring Me Flowers" And...  "Green Tea and Sweet Beans" New Patterns...   Great boy quilt! A new tote bag pattern...this uses the new sensational material "Craft Tex" which we carry in white, brown and black.  We will be hosting a class to make this bag. It has lots of special details and hardware. And more from Jen Kingwell...      All of these patterns are on the website! You can go shopping right now!! We will be in Amherst Massachusetts at "Hands Across The Valley Quilt Show", April 11th and 12th. You can find out all the details here. We will be bringing our Bernina Sewing machines as well as our wonderful fat quarter bundles and kits. We will be having some amazing show specials on our sewing machines so be sure to stop by and say hello. April 18th and 19th we will be in Hanover New Hampshire for the "Northern Lights Quilt Show". We have decided not to vend at the Vermont Quilt Festival this year. On your travels to or from the show, please visit the shop. We love seeing our friends! Plus you know we have the largest selection of contemporary quilting fabrics, books and patterns in VERMONT!  Yes we will be participating in this Summer's "Row by Row Experience" Our row is in the planning stages. Wait til you see Kaffe Fassett's new fabric for Spring 2015!
