Upcoming workshops... "Tuffets"  Add a bit of whimsy to your home make this fabric covered footstool! We are hosting three workshops... July 9th and 10th with an alternate finishing date, July 16th August 6th and 7th with an alternate finishing date, August 13th October 22nd and 23rd with an alternate finishing date , August 29th In the first Saturday session you will piece your tuffet cover. This will be an all day class. The following Sunday or Saturday, you will construct your Tuffet. The class fees include the pattern with printed muslin interfacing, class fee and the Tuffet Kit. The kit contains furniture grade components, foam cushion, wooden base, batting, button and carved wooden feet. This is a real piece of furniture so you can sit, play and rest your feet on this unique pouf! Call the shop to register. 802-824-5700. The cost is $134.00 for the first piecing session. This includes the pattern and class fee. The cost for the construction session is $141 and this includes the furniture kit plus the use of the special tools required to assemble the tuffet. Our English Paper Piecing Club meets next Saturday May 14th at 10 AM. Come in and sew with us. Share hints and tricks or if you are new to EPP, Shelley can get you started on your first pieced Hexagon. Our Machine Embroidery Party Club meets on Friday May 20th. Come to our party and learn how to create a wallet right in your embroidery hoop! Featuring a zipper coin pouch, four card pockets, and a snap closure, this little wallet is just the right size for the essentials, and so easy to make, you’ll want one in every color!  This hands-on class is a great opportunity for beginning embroiderers and seasoned stitchers alike! We will walk you step by step through the process of creating this quick and easy project. One of the offerings will be to create this wonderful machine applique quilt...  I have the borders to add.  Here is a detail. The shapes are fused and then machine stitched. This pattern is called "Folk Art Floral" by Angela Lawrence.  A few new patterns...  Simple and fat quarter friendly. We are bundling some of our favorite fabrics for this pattern.  This is a great Kaffe Fassett fabrics quilt pattern. This bag features fancy decorative stitches...think Bernina! Plus we have this over dyed denim in stock in several colors.
