We had a huge windstorm a few days ago and my car and the front of our house were damaged by a a giant pine tree.   My car is totaled! But we were lucky no one was injured! That's our bedroom window below the damaged roof. We were without power, internet and cell service for several days. All is well now and we just have to make repairs and I guess I will need a new car. But...that is what Insurance is for, right? Our hearts go out to all of the folks in Puerto Rico, The Virgin Islands, Northern California and for all those who have suffered thru extreme weather conditions this Fall.
