| July 14, 2018 July Snippets 2018  Andrew and I went to Chicago for Bernina University. We took classes and seminars to help us become more knowledgeable Bernina Dealers. And we learned a lot!  There will be some new product releases to look forward to...  Replacing the 3 Series will be the new 4 Series! And wow! I can sew on my 770 QE while embroidering on the 700! Check out this video...  My English Paper Pieced "Glorious" quilt was on display at The Vermont Quilt Festival this year and...  I won a ribbon!  What an honor to be among the fabulous quilts at the show! Our staff member Phoebe has been busy making samples for the shop.  Using the iconic "Tourist Tote" pattern by Jessica Vandenburg and the new Riley Blake Fabric, "Vintage Adventure" "White Christmas" from Zen Chic is here. We have fabric on the bolt, layer cakes and jelly rolls. Plus the patterns as well.     Advent Calendar And Patterns...    This is such a wonderful line for winter projects! We have a lot of "Liberty-Like" prints in stock now...  And...  We have jelly rolls only in this line...Perfect for those new jelly roll rug patterns... We also have the largest selection of Kaffe Fassett fabrics in Vermont! But you know that all ready!  Just a small sampling of some of the prints in stock. All of the fabrics are on the bolt.  We have the pattern for the rectangular rug as well. On back order but coming soon are the pre-cut 2 1/2 inch batting strips. Or you can use up all of those scraps of batting you have hanging around! The new issue of "Simply Moderne" is here from Quiltmania...  Another great issue! We are continuing with our Collage workshops. I can teach up to 4 students at a time. You pick the date and we will put it on our schedule. One of our latest classes...  The "Pin Cushion" is always a favorite! We now have the "Mini Pin Cushion" pattern in stock. It finishes at 30"x 30". On order is Laura Heine's latest pattern...  Adorable or what!!! Should be here by July 18th. We have had a bit of hot weather here in Vermont.
